JDA Group was
formed by Joseph Dell’Aquila in the early
1980’s. Mr. Dell’Aquila acquired numerous
properties throughout New Jersey and New York
throughout his life as a garment manufacturer.
Through wise decision making and a keen eye for
good potential real estate. Mr. Dell’Aquila
managed to acquire property in some of the most
valued areas in New Jersey consisting of
Hoboken, Englewood Cliffs and Alpine.

Mr.
Dell’Aquila grew up in Hoboken in the 1940’s and
his family got involved in the garment business,
as immigrants there wasn’t much choice. Mr.
Dell’Aquila continued on in the garment business
and started his own company in 1968 in
Hoboken with two sewing machines! Mr.
Dell’Aquila built his business over the years
and had factories in Hoboken with as many as
five hundred employees.
As the garment businesses became smaller in the
United States, Mr. Dell’Aquila had to close up
his shop and reinvent himself into a profession
which he had an extensive indirect history
with.
Mr. Dell’Aquila had always had a deep interest
in real estate through business and pleasure.
Joe purchased factory buildings and renovated
them for commercial use. Mr. Dell’Aquila also
renovated single family homes for both business
and pleasure.
One industrial building that JDA Group acquired
for garment manufacturing, now the Hoboken
Business Center, is Hoboken’s finest office
building for small to medium sized professional
companies. A property that was also an
industrial building that was demolished and used
as a parking lot serving Hoboken residents. Soon
to be Hoboken’s grandeur luxury rental
building. JDA Group has renovated many single
family homes including The Bowne Mansion located
in Newburgh, NY, The Neidlinger Mansion located
in Alpine, NJ, a single family home in Englewood
Cliffs, NJ and multiple single family homes
located in Palisades Park, NJ. JDA Group,
headquartered at 50 Harrison Street, consists of
three subsidiary companies. JDA
