Timothy Connell

AVP, Financial Planning and Analytics

Bringing a background in banking combined with a degree in real estate/finance to the JDA Group, Timothy Connell is able to blend a personalized approach with effective financial strategy to ensure continuous growth of the organization. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Timothy was a core member of the leadership team responsible for restructuring leases, identifying financial opportunities to sustain operations, and creating emergency plans to protect the organization’s assets. Much of his success stemmed from his commitment to being honest and transparent with stakeholders, and it is this mindset that allows Timothy to contribute to the family-minded culture featured at JDA Group. Starting from a place of trust, challenges can be resolved in a way that empowers all parties and strengthens partnerships.

Timothy is a proactive leader, guiding strategy and financial discussions by preparing for potential opportunities and risks. As Wayne Gretzky said, “Some people skate to the puck. I skate to where the puck is going to be.” By keeping an eye on the future, Timothy has been a key player in the entitlement process in both Jersey City and Hoboken, as well as during the expansion and rebranding of Mission 50. His role is to provide key insights and metrics to showcase financial feasibility and to enable data-driven decision-making when planning for development activities and the future success of JDA Group.

Robyn Smith

Property Manager

For Robyn Smith, effective teams start with finding the best talent, and she has brought that philosophy to JDA Group to identify and secure leaders who can help bring the organization’s core values to life. With 20+ years in the real estate development/property management space, Robyn knows that market conditions and tenant/client needs change quickly; having the best team focused on a cohesive vision can mitigate challenges created by these changes.

Robyn was born and raised in Hoboken, and she always finds herself drawn back to the area. She plays a key role in JDA Group’s outreach to the local community through events like family fun concerts, movie nights, and fitness nights. Named the Most Supportive Onsite Staff Member by the New Jersey Apartment Association early on in her career, Robyn continues to bring the value of a personal touch to leadership, strategy, and operational vision.

Christopher Waggoner

Leasing Manager

Christopher Waggoner has always lived by the guiding principle set forth in a quote by Nelson Mandela: “It’s in your hands to create a better world for all who live in it.” His primary goal with JDA Group is to help his clients succeed and build their businesses so that they can pay it forward. Ultimately, he sees real estate development and management as key in ensuring all individuals find their homes; for the past ten years, Christopher has worked to deliver on this goal during his tenure with Pegasus Residential, Toll Brothers Apartment Living, and now with JDA Group.

An enthusiastic partner with Mission 50 since the inception, Christopher is inspired by the innovative approach to building a community where everyone contributes to creating something better for all. His commitment to acting as a trusted advisor during projects and truly understanding the needs of his clients as they navigate development strategies carries into the work he has done with Mission 50, and he looks forward to continuing to shape a community-minded space that encourages long-term, person-centered growth.

Claire Pedulla

Director of Community

Born and raised in Jersey City Heights, Claire Pedulla comes to JDA Group with creative and coworking experience, a history of building empathetic relationships with clients, and expertise in shaping communities. She has been actively engaged in the expansion and rebrand of Mission 50; in fact, she is so actively engaged that she often ends her day with up to five miles walked without leaving the building. This demonstrates Claire’s natural curiosity for understanding her client’s needs and her commitment to delivering a hands-on approach that addresses those needs.

Claire has a BFA from Syracuse University, and during her tenure at The Yard (a NYC-based coworking space), she served as Community and Midtown Manager. Under her guidance, the member experience was elevated and retention/occupancy rates increased dramatically. Passionate about hospitality, Claire brings a guest-centric leadership style and approach to her work. Outside of the office, she engages with the local community as a member of a Hoboken-based women’s choir and through her enthusiastic exploration of local food and beverage.
